yea, i am with domino kaspesky is much better. You cant really got free antivirus programs becuase they just blacklist the serial # and send the FBI after u. Just go download AVAST! is much better and its free. The reson Norton sucks is because everybody has it so when hackers ansd other people make virus's they make sure it can get through Norton, that the first thing they tst it on. So its not even worth trying to get it.
I would get Kaspersky Internet Security it's by far way better then Norton, you can get both programs at download.com

You should only install Norton AV if you want your PC to come to a grinding halt and conflict w/ all your other appz. It is the worst and is very bloated. Go to http://forum.andr.net/ and search for Kaspersky or ZoneAlarm or whatever. You should find plenty of DL links.

AVG by Grisoft is definitely NOT "The Best". Unfortunately one of the things it is not the best at, is doing what is is supposed to do, detecting viruses!

I have used AVG Anti Virus, Zone Alarm Firewall, Spy-bot Search and Destroy and Ad Aware both spyware killers for years. They are all free for personal use and I have had no trouble with Viruses Trojans etc. AVG does not slow the system down as much as some other products and Zone Alarm allows a lot of personal configuration unlike the Windows Firewall. On the home page select downloads and then the appropriate category.I also use Windows Defender from the Microsoft site. It is safe to use two anti-spy products but never use more than one A/V as it can cause conflicts. You should run A/V and anti spy weekly. Hope this helps.

The last one here is the best one you can possibly get. AVG along with your microsoft firewall (already on your system) will protect you from virtually anything. it also wnt slow down ure operating system like others or block certain ports and programs u may need (norton - baaa humbug lol). Go for it, but still be careful what you access in emails and click on websites. Downloading a virus by mistake won't be stopped. Just probably what you have been told to do and do anyway.
